We Thank you
THE JAM Benefit
Fremont, CA, September 2, 2018 The Bay Area was rockin' back to The Old School when Beats 4 Hope and Tito's Handmade Vodka presented the THE JAM benefiting Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area starring the Stone City Band, the original band of Rick James. Event talents also included the Funky Latin Orchestra and Legendary DJs who united for one night to make a difference for our Bay Area Wish Kids.
The JAM Benefit Supports our Bay Area Make-A-Wish Kids battling life threatening illnesses. The event is almost diverse as our community as we are bringing together funk, soul, old-school, 80s, 90s and salsa in a country bar!! The ‘why’ is quite simple....why not.
Since Beats 4 Hope is not compensated we rely on the Talent, auction items , operating expenses and venue to be donated. All the money we collect goes to charity. We are grateful for our relationships with our Talent, sponsors, supporters and especially with The Saddle Rack. The Saddle Rack has graciously opened their venue to us because they are also passionate about giving back and support the work we do.
Our Benefactor Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area is also about diversity. Life threatening illnesses knows no boundaries and can inflict a child at any age and any socioeconomic status. Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area serves the Bay Area directly and granting over 400 wishes to children with life threatening illnesses per year. Wishes for these children gives them hope, strength and joy during treatment while making lifelong memories for the family. The children they serve are fighting for their lives and their families are doing everything that they can to help them in their battles. The organization is compelled to be creative and exceed the expectations of every wish. In 2017 Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area celebrated 35 years fulfilling magical wishes. Anyone can refer a child for a wish by calling Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area 415-902-9874.
We invite you to join us as we drop cultural, race, age, gender and music lines and unite as one for one cause.
