Latin Prince LP is currently on tour in Croatia and can hear him spinning on Pitbull’s SiriusXM Radio Station. He is also running the East Coast office of DJ City which is the largest Dj Digital Record pool in the world. LP got his music roots from growing up in the SF club scene and climbing the ranks of club djs as well as the mixshow community. Getting his start at KMEL - he is one of the original Bay Area All Star DJs. His experience working at HITS Magazine, MCA Records as Mix show Promotions, Universal Records, Bum Squad DJz record pool, and TVT Records. TVT is where he first met Pitbull and their relationship hasn’t stopped since party after party. Purple Pam The Funkstress The Funkstress is one of the true pioneers of all female DJs repping the Bay. The Hip Hop community has embraced the Funkstress for more than a decade not only as a club DJ but as a performing artist, SF Radio KBLX and was the DJ for Prince. The Funkstress has been featured in music publications such as Rolling Stone Magazine, 4080, Rap Pages, Ms., Fader and Wired just to name a few. When you think about “Heat”, the San Francisco Bay Area is a not the first place that comes to mind. But when you think “DJ heat” the Bay Area is exactly where to find it. Jazzy Jim The Jazz, is the APD/MD at CBS Radio 99.7 by day and by night a San Francisco club king at the 18 and over club City Nights! He has been in the music business for decades as a mover and shakers. He has been able to break artists careers from his long run at radio from mixing at San Jose’s Hot 97, becoming a Program Director at Wild 94.9 to making things happen at Radio Station “NOW”. He has made club classic records as well gives back to public or giving his staff the knowledge he has gained over the years.
Jose Melendez You can hear this Wild Dj on the Bay Area’s #1 music station Wild 94.9! He has 15 year career as a mix show Dj and is also one of the Bay’s original All-Star Djs. Jose knowledge comes from the SF night club scene where he paid his dues and and played in front of hundreds of thousands of people in every major venue in the Bay including the resident Dj at the SF Giant’s games. Davey D DJ Davey D is a nationally recognized journalist, adjunct professor, Hip Hop historian, syndicated talk show host, radio programmer, producer, DJ, media and community activist.is the co-founder and host of several of the most cited Hip Hop radio and online news journalism projects of all time. Hard Knock Radio (HKR) is an award-winning daily syndicated prime time afternoon show focusing on Hip Hop culture and politics. One of the first of its kind, the show originated in 1999 on KPFA 94.1 FM in the San Francisco Bay Area, and now can be heard in Seattle, Atlanta, Portland, Fresno and is streamed live on KPFA.org, reaching close to a million listeners daily. In 2003, HKR was cited as best on air show by the East-Bay Express and Davey D voted Best On Air Personality. He was awarded The Profiles in Excellence Award by ABC 7 in the Bay Area (2005). He was recently awarded 'Thank You Award' in 2009 for Independent Artist Week.
DJ Zhaldee Z, is one of the busiest Party DJs in the Bay Area. From the hottest clubs to private soirées, on Bay Area radio. Zhaldee is a modern day renaissance man of musicality – a world-class DJ with extensive experience performing at remarkable venues. He has shared the stage with DJ Jazzy Jeff, the late DJ AM, Z-Trip, Flo Rida, and De La Soul. He has DJ’d events hosted by Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony, Sammy Hagar, Sean Kingston, Trey Songz, Cali Swag District, Nelly and more. Zhaldee understands what a blessing and gift it is to have made a career of his passion by performing and perfecting his craft. He gives back to the community by sharing his talent and donating his DJ services for many local non-profit groups that include: The Red Cross Gala (SF), The Junior League of San Francisco, The Guardsmen of San Francisco, and Daves Avenue Home and School Club in Monte Sereno. DJ Lazy Boy Lazy Boy is a multitalented DJ is holds many titles including Mighty 4 Scratch Battle Champion, Bohemian Norby DJ of the year, Churchward Pub Battle Champion, Skratch Fight Skratch Champion, and the Rumble on Wax Champion. DJ Riktor Riktor is the new breed of Bay Area DJ talent. He has a vast musical and art background. Dj Riktor creates remixes, mashups and and as a video mixer he learned how to video edit his own videos with Final Cut Pro and other various programs. Riktor is also involved with the community by getting involved with many charities like Breast Cancer, Lymphoma & Leukemia in Training, Dancing for a Cure and many other fundraisers. DJAlex Mejia / Co-Chair of Beats 4 Hope Mejia the creator of The Bay Area’s All Star Djs and is a long time veteran of the entire music business and has a long history of breaking and making artists careers and Djs careers come to life. His decades of experience from working at KMEL / Virgin Records / AOL Radio / Sprint TV / M-Spot and building “Audio Main Frame” gives him the access to make things happen as a sincere philanthropist.
